# Archive/ Unarchive Label As organisations evolve, it is essential to keep your labels on [Coinshift](https://coinshift.xyz/) up to date. To maintain an organised workflow, you may need to remove labels as organisations dissolve or team members depart. {% hint style="info" %} When you remove labels on Coinshift, they are archived and can be recovered later if necessary. {% endhint %} ## Archive a Label Follow the steps below to archive labels on Coinshift.

### **Step 1: Identify** the label to archive Navigate to the **Labels** section. Identify the label you wish to remove and click on the **Delete** icon (denoted by red in the image below) next to the desired label.

### **Step 2:** Archive the selected label A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you wish to proceed with archiving the label. To confirm and complete the process, click on the **Archive** button.

Upon successful completion, the selected label will no longer appear in the active labels list on your dashboard. ## **Unarchive a Label** Follow the steps below to view and restore archived labels on Coinshift.

### Step 1: Reveal archived labels list Toggle the **Show archived labels** (denoted by red in the image below) button to display the list of archived labels.

### Step 2: Find the unarchive button Scroll down to view the archived labels at the bottom of the page. Locate the unarchive button (indicated in red in the image below) next to the desired label.

### Step 3: Confirm unarchive action Click on the unarchive button, and when prompted, confirm the action by selecting **Unarchive**.

### Step 4: Verify the restored label in active labels Once confirmed, the label will be restored and appear in the active **Labels** section.
