🤖Connect Discord for an Account

Integrate your Discord account with your Safe account for timely notifications.

Integrate a Discord account with your Coinshift account by following these steps.

Step 1: Access Accounts via Notifications

Navigate to the Notifications -> Accounts under the Settings section. Here, you will see the list of all accounts within your organisation.

Click on the Connect button next to the account you wish to link to your Discord account.

If Slack notifications are enabled for that account, you'll see a Manage button instead; click on that.

By following the steps mentioned in this article, users can configure Slack and Discord alerts for individual accounts to get transaction notifications. These alerts are account-specific, not for the whole organisation.

Follow the article Connect Discord for an Org if you wish to set up org-level notifications.

Step 2: Select Notification Channel

Select Discord as your preferred channel.

Step 3: Select Server and Channel & authorise access

We recommend you have a dedicated channel for notifications for optimal organisation and clarity. Please set this up in Discord accordingly.

You will be redirected to Discord, where authorisation is needed to access the desired server.

Choose the Discord server and channel where you want to receive notifications.

If the desired Discord Server isn't visible in the drop-down menu, you may not have the required permissions to access it. Please refer to the Discord: Check Your Permissions guide and reach out to the server owner or administrator for further clarification on your access rights.

Authorise Coinshift to send messages to the chosen Discord server.

Step 4: Verify Connection

Return to Settings -> Notifications-> Accounts to confirm the connection with the appropriate account.

You can now see the Manage button for the selected account.

Read this article to learn how to use this option to further control your notifications.
